The show starts with a Cultural Demonstration of Polynesian sports. We have the Coconut Tree Climbing, the Peeling and Opening of a Coconut, the Rock-Lifting Contest and finally, the Polynesian Javelin Throwing Contest.
The second part of the show, the Polynesian Dances, is all about traditional dances. While the rhythm of Traditional Polynesian songs pound your ears, the dancers perform many of the original dances, a true replica of how it was traditionally carried out many years ago.
The last part of the show is the Fire Dance, which is definitely a magic and unforgettable moment!
The feast is prepared by two cooks in a traditional earth oven made with volcanic rocks, and covered by banana leaves. On the menu: suckling pig, chicken with local spinach, manioc, plantain bananas, bread fruit, raw fish salad with coconut milk, and finally a traditional dessert made with bananas and vanilla, as well as fresh tropical fruits. A delectation for all!
It is possible to replace the Polynesian feast by a BBQ: fish, chicken, spiny lobster (subject to availability), polynesian vegetables, raw fish salad with coconut milk, tropical fruits.
Isn’t that a "Once In a Lifetime" evening experience?
